Intensive Students Get Gig to Die For!

Woohoo! Intensive students Mark Curtis Ferrando (dying, left) and Adam Kezele (dead, right) are joining the cast of J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan, the 360°, in-the-round, aerial spectacular!

Choreographed by Gypsy Snider, this Peter Pan is extra-special for the guys: Ms. Snider is the internationally acclaimed, co-founder/co-artistic director of Montreal’s Les 7 doigts de la main circus collective, whose “Sequence 8” just wrapped up its U.S. tour, and who can currently be seen in “Queen of the Night” at NYC’s Diamond Horseshoe. Ms. Snider co-choreographed the recent Broadway hit revival of Pippin, for which she won Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle Awards.

Mark came to our Intensive Professional Program after earning a BA in Dramatic Arts at UC Davis. His Intensive Program studies emphasized Duo Acrobatics and Chinese Pole. In NYC, Mark has appeared with Blue Man Group, Acroback and in Aida at The Metropolitan Opera.

Adam joined the Intensive Program after receiving a BA in Theatre from Miami University of Ohio. A musician and aerialist, Adam’s Intensive Program focus has been on aerial silks, flying trapeze and Chinese pole. In NYC, he has appeared as Bassianus in New York Shakespeare Exchange’s Titus Andronicus, as well as in Why Won’t You Pick Up Our Garbage? at Cherry Lane Theatre and The Policy at The Secret Theatre.
