Gaston Elie – Guest Instructor
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gaston Elie comes from a six-generation circus family. By the age of nine, he was performing with that family as a trapeze artist.
In 1996, Gaston was the winner of Circus Festival, Argentina. In 1998, he joined Cirque du Soleil troupe, where he was trained by Andre Simar and Victor Fomine for the synchronized trapeze number for the show “ALEGRIA.”
With almost 30 years of experience on the stage, Gaston has worked around the world in various capacities associated with circus arts: acrobat, character, artistic director, teacher and an aerial choreographer.
