Come play on our cool rolling toys! We’ll introduce you to the basics of this apparatus including solo and partner skills and the beginnings of more acrobatic movements, progressing at your own pace. Please bring lace up shoes with thin, flexible soles – martial arts, wrestling and canvas “deck shoes” are ideal; running shoe soles tend to be too thick. Because of our wheel sizes the class is restricted to students 5’ – 6’2” tall, ages 16 and up or by permission of instructor. Other students may be able to participate – call us for information.

Moving Through Hoops: Transitions and Tricks on Lyra

We’ll also introduce you to our simple (“cyr”) wheel. Please bring lace up shoes with thin, flexible soles – martial arts, wrestling and canvas “deck shoes” are ideal; running shoe soles tend to be too thick.
